VASEK celebrates the Sustainability Week 23-29.9.2024! During the week, we will highlight the development of sustainable business in the Vaasa region from five different angles.
In the videos published during the week we will shed light on new business models made possible by circular economy, we will give perspective on the significance of environmental certifications for companies in the tourism industry and we will share some tips on how to enhance energy efficiency in your company. We will also showcase sustainable development within the port logistics as well as within the EnergyVaasa cluster.
The sustainability week is arranged through a thematic network operated under the auspices of the Rural Policy Council and is responsible for the development of rural policy and the promotion of an overall rural policy program within the framework of its theme. It’s an event week that brings together different actors to inspire and make visible hands-on measures for a sustainable society. The program for the week is created by companies, associations, municipalities, schools, and other actors taking part. Read more about the week and check out the program.
