Roxtec, with headquarters in Sweden, manufactures sealing systems for shipbuilding, offshore and building industries. Roxtec's seals are also needed in wind power plants' cable and pipe openings.

Teemu Nieminen, who represented Roxtec Finland Ltd at Vaasa Wind Exchange, says that it is important to know on what kind of area the power plant will be raised and what kind of foundation it has. These affect cabling and openings greatly.

Even though Roxtec is a well-known supplier of components for many companies in the energy concentration in the Vaasa region, Nieminen was excited about the event. During the day he has met with both global and Finnish customers of the company.

- It is really great that they have been able to gather this many wind power actors to same event to openly discuss issues on wind power. Good and intensive atmosphere, just like during coffee breaks. The venue suits well for this event, and the Speakers' Corner is an excellent invention, he praises and promises to participate next year as well.
